do i soak clutch plates before i install?

i am about ready to install my new clutch kit and i was wondering if i soak all my clutch plates with gear oil and do i need to apply any lube to my pancake bearing? thanks

yes you want to soak the plates before they go in, also dab some grease on the rod/ball and on all the parts of the pancake that contact other metal

i usually let mine soak over nite just what an old man told me to do once and i kinda always listened i dont know if it actually helps but thats what i do
