I am currently running a ported engine 20 over stock stroke. coolhead with 19cc dome at sealevel comp. 185 with +7 timing. Run toomey t-5 and 110 gas, My question is I ride alot of wide sandy trails where I can open it up often, so how much comp and advance are good before the engine is working against itself? Does the lower compression, say 160 better all around because the high comp is supposed to help lowend I was told. Thanks in advance.

I would say right about where you are is probably the best place for you to be.
