glamisduner22 Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 I bought my first Banshee about two months ago. It is a 97. When I bought it the guuy who sold it to me said everything on it worked so I checked it out and test drove it down the street and it ran great so I paid the man. Later on that day at my house I realized that the lights didn't turn on. Now im pretty dumb when it comes to fixing that type of stuff so any advice you can throw my way would be great. Thanks. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 11, 2008 Report Posted March 11, 2008 first of all are you sure the bulbs are not burnt out or broken? if so are the wires hooked up? if so check the small 1.5in by 1.5 inch silver box under the seat. there is a wire that should plug into the harnessand another that grounds to the frame. if the side that is supposed to be plugged in isnt you could have blown the bulbs. I checked it and the two wires are connected and the bulbs are fine. What ells could it be??? Quote
blowit Posted April 12, 2008 Report Posted April 12, 2008 (edited) I checked it and the two wires are connected and the bulbs are fine. What ells could it be??? Lighting coil in stator is bad. Use meter to verify no ACV from yellow wire coming from stator to chassis ground while running. B Edited April 12, 2008 by blowit Quote
