Ok I have some birthday money that's burning a hole in my pocket. I'm looking at getting some intakes to replace the Pro Design ones I have now. I have 34mm Mikunis TM's and the bowl on the left carb rubs on the clutch lever (I bent the lever down but it still rubs a bit) and the pod filters run into my stinger tubes. Are there intakes out there that have a little different tilt to them to fix these problems or should I get a set of reed spacers too to get off of the clutch arm. I don't think Ill get away from the filter hitting the stinger tube though. Also, should I be looking for one with a built in crossover tube? If I go with intakes without the crossover is it going to hurt my motor in any way? I was looking at some Boss Racing intakes w/o the crossover tube. Thanks in advance for any help guys!

I have the boss intake they are very nice and hold the carbs up high I only have 30mm carbs but I dont think bigger ones would hit either and you can get them for a decent price and you filters do they have a beveled opening I had to keep turning mine tell they fit without hitting my pipes the angle will let you steer them away from the stinger tubes

My filters go straight back so turning them does nothing but thanks for the idea.

I got one hell of a deal on a boss intake on ebay this week. Search on there.

Was the seller dunetire? And the ones I keep finding don't have a crossover at all but I don't think that would hurt me at all.

you can get them for 60-80 bucks there is one on there now for twenty

The one's that I have been seeing are around 100-130 which isn't a bad price.

I got my intake yesterday. VERY NICE. I'm still shocked I got a brand new Boss Racing intake for $63 shipped.

yam_fan . . . I see how you were missing bolts now too. One bag of my bolts was broken open and floating around in the box.
