SWRToad Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 I ride mostly dunes and prefer shaved fronts in order to see my front tires better in the tight areas, trees, trails, etc. Rears are shaved mainly for looks. I run Fullbore front and rear on bike number two.......... Quote
Cotton eyed Joe Posted April 22, 2003 Report Posted April 22, 2003 I run dunes only, but sometimes out there you will encounter rocks or other things you don't want to hit and risk dinging a Douglas rim, so without the fenders on the front I can see what I'm going over alot easier when I want to straddle a rock etc, and I shaved the rears so it doesn't look so much like a tractor.
