Ok, I got a Dyna cdi for a 87-94 banshee that I was going to put on my 89 but now I want to put it on the 03. Is it possible to wire up an adapter from an old wiring harness to make this work? Is it worth $90 for the programming kit to dial in the ignition curves if I'm not going to be doing any serious racing, are the pre programed curves good enough?(I dont ever want to run lean again but I dont want to just dump more fuel to it if the real problem is too much advance at high rpm's)

I don't know about the wiring up part, but I have one on my '06 shee and I have been told by many to stay away from the programming kit unless you have access to a dyno & know you $hit.. could do more harm than good..just my 2 cents..

as to the Dyna ign. so far so good

there is no differance from one box to another, they just have differant plug patterns. you can just swap the wires to a differant plug if your comfortable doing it.

As far as buying the program, if your not going to be racing id say save your money, the pre-programed curve are already going to be better then your stock box. If you worried about too much advance do a comp test and post what you got, based off that you could figure out if curve 3 (most advanced curve) would advance too much or not
