T-daddy Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 i got some new lights but wen i pluged them up they didnt come on its like the switch dont work or sumthin i dont get it its the head lights Quote
dajogejr Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 get a 12 volt test light, make sure you're getting power to the switch, after the switch...and to the head light harness. If you get power there...bad bulb or bad ground more than likely... Quote

KaosBanshee44 Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 I don't know i've never had lights on my bike, i mean i did at one point but they were out ever since i got the bike then i went to my drag frame. I'm sure they would flicker a little when starting it but i could be wrong. Quote
dajogejr Posted February 28, 2008 Report Posted February 28, 2008 Man that was tough to read... They might, a little..... Try the tester to see where you are getting power with the bike running...that's the only way to figure this out. Quote

Da-shee-s-nit Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 What kind of lights are you running? stock or after market. You have to make sure that they are 35 watts, if not you need a bigger stator! Hope this helps. Quote
Snopczynski Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 hook the light to a batter with some jumper wires, if it comes on then the bulbs are ok. There is no way to test this thing if you dont have a good test light. Best thing to do is use a multi meter. You can check ohms through the bulb, ohms to ground, and voltage on the powered stator wire. Quote
