I haven't been able to find any replacement parts. I need the bolt that goes through as the stock one is too short. Edited February 26, 2008 by 20Banshee03 Quote
inthemail Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 find some old tires and take your time shaping up 4 round pieces, go to the hardware store for a bolt or 2. i dont believe FMF sells ANY replacement parts, however. the customer is always to leave satisfied in the buisness world so mabye try shooting off an email to a person from FMF? brag about how devoted a customer you are. hell i blew out my BB on my Kink BMX and bitched. they sent me not only 2 replacement BB's with bearings. but a whole new style 3PC crank to go with it! bansheejoel Posted February 26, 2008 Author Report Posted February 26, 2008 yeah these silencers need them. the outside diameter is maybe 3/8 inch and with the rubber things its like 1/4 Quote
sinisterboo Posted February 26, 2008 Report Posted February 26, 2008 try a set of automotive shock bushings from a stud mount type shock. like say......... 85 chevy monte carlo for example. might have to cut them to be thinner, and open the hole up. but at least they wont look home made. look in the "help" section of your local parts store.
