Does anyone have any tips on doing this? I am having a constant problem with water getting up in my stator case. I have RTV'd all along the edge of the case and around the bolt holes trying to keep out as much as possible but I cant seem to stop it.

I dont do any deep water crossing or anything, just normal puddles and shallow creeks that I snail across to not get any water up on the engine or anywhere near the air filter. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesnt.

I gotta figure something out!

thanks

Terry

Very thin layer of dielectric silicone for electronic ignitions (most auto stores) sells this.

Where all do you apply it? Just on the exposed copper wire? Or just smear the sucker down?

thanks
