mickk Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 I've got a totally unworn original yamaha clutch basket, unfortunately the drive gear doesn't fit so I'll have to change it to my existing gear that has worn basket and cushions. The basket is riveted, can I just make threads for bolts or should it be riveted? Quote
inthemail Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 is it still a banshee basket??? if you got a couple bucks why not get yourself a billet basket (since your gonna be basically doing the grunt work of installing one anyway) bolts may have to be countersunk for clearance im not sure. It is exactly the same yamaha basket as banshee has, it is brand new and I have it in my hand. I'll angle grind the rivets on the new one and see how it looks. Quote
