jesse1004 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 I know its not a banshee but I hope its all the same. I just changed the fluid on my 250r and now I cannot get my clutch adjusted. No matter if its clutched or not it goes when I shift it into first. Prior to changing the oil I could not get it adjusted, it always wanted to roll on me when I had the clutch lever in. The last time I rode the R it got really hot. I was actually trying to pull my boys on a sled in about a foot of snow. Does it sound like a toasted clutch to you guys? Its a hinson too, if that makes a difference. Quote
jesse1004 Posted February 14, 2008 Author Report Posted February 14, 2008 One more thing........If the clutch is toast can I use any plates or does hinson make specific ones? Quote
Bansh-eman Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 (edited) you fried your plates it sounds like. you can run any plate as long as they fit the basket, nothing speical. edit: or if it has an adjster like the banshee does try adjusting it there first. im not sure how the 250r clutch work, never worked on one b4 Edited February 14, 2008 by Bansh-eman Quote
