fastflyer Posted February 9, 2008 Report Posted February 9, 2008 i took off the stock pipes and put on fmf gnarly and powercoreII in the rear the jets i took outta my bike were 200 so i got 270 for it the modds are high compression piston and rings,k&N filter lid is still on and tors removal/twist throthal and stock pilos and the c-clip is on the second slot up from the point on the needle and is bogging alot on the bottom end? some help would be awesome thanks john Quote

Do some plug chops and let that be your guide. ok thanks i raised the clip up one notch and that got rid of some of the bogging seems to be half decent, but im going to try droping to a 260 main and see what that does for me plus it is winter here,-10 and so on so not the best time to be fucking with jetting i dont ride the shee in the winter Quote

Jetting needs to be changed for temp. if moving your needle solved your problem, then I would leave the 270 in and do a plug chop. You probably will end up closer to the 260 main during the summer.
