atvfreestylekid Posted February 5, 2008 Report Posted February 5, 2008 I've got a 4-mill, t-5's, K&N with box and lid with holes/filter inserts, boyesen dual stage reeds on stock cages, and stock porting(spacer plate mod). carbs are stock with 320 mains, stock pilots, and 4th needle clip. It has no bottom end until the powerband hits. Then it's scary  . Plugs are black/brown and a little wet. So around what size should the pilots be? 27? Should I bring the needle clip down more? I know I need bigger carbs but I just had to rebuild the complete top and bottom end due to a rod bearing failing. So my spare money is more than spent. For now... Quote
atvfreestylekid Posted February 5, 2008 Author Report Posted February 5, 2008 Nobody on here have a stroker and k&n that can tell me their current jetting? Quote
Fireroad Express Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 a bit bigger on the pilot will definately help. maybe 27.5 or probably 30's .i don't know what to tell you on the needle though. i have a +4 HR crank but run fairly aggressive porting and compression + bigger carbs so i don't know how helpful my mod list would be to ya. take a boo anyway and see what you think. try checking out some other peoples mod lists and find a comparable set-up to what you have.shoot em a pm and ask what they are running for a carbs set-up.
