tyguy Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 has anybody heard anything about the twists with a bearing inside? they seem nice unlike the plastic ones. id like the feel of a rocket throttle. rocky mountain has them for 30.00 a tube. is that too out ragous? Quote
racer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 30 for an al tube seems cheap to me. Quote
racer Posted February 4, 2008 Report Posted February 4, 2008 haha, if you read it really fast it says anal tube, ahhahahahahaha. Quote
tyguy Posted February 6, 2008 Author Report Posted February 6, 2008 well thank you for pointing that out to me... i think ill sleep better knowing that know....lol.... so you've never used one? doesnt sound like anybody has yet. only on dirt bikes Quote
dajogejr Posted February 6, 2008 Report Posted February 6, 2008 When I had my CRs, I know I paid more than that for the pro circuit one. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the twist throttles just a CR twist throttle? Use that aluminum tube. The only reason I got them for my CRs is...well, when you dump a bike, the handlebars are gonna hit. Period...and I didn't want to break the plastic one. It was smoother than the plastic one, too.... Check into it, but I think it's just a CR type twist throttle. Quote
tyguy Posted February 10, 2008 Author Report Posted February 10, 2008 yep its the same as cr style but aluminum. i was just wondering if it would be like a crotch rocket smooth or not. when you twist mine now it has a little play in it like its a little bigger, id like it to be tight and smooth. maybe thats asking to much Quote
HotCarl Posted February 10, 2008 Report Posted February 10, 2008 id like it to be tight and smooth. maybe thats asking to much Isn't that what we all want? On some of my street bikes they had tefflon spacers that the tube ran on to keep it from having any play. Quote
