Bobman13 Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 Just curious if any one has these or used them, the kit's 60.00 on there site http://bossbearing.com/dlr.asp seem to be better than stock. Quote
jeepman380 Posted January 29, 2008 Report Posted January 29, 2008 Pretty much just like most automotive wheel bearings so i'm sure they would work good and hold up. Quote
FireHead Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 They look good, but they are relatively new and I don't know anyone who has tried them yet. Quote
Lepew Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 They should last longer and if their claim of 5x's the life is correct, if you wear out wheel bearings a lot it would pay back pretty quick. If you notice it includes spacers for the caliper, I wonder how far the kit moves the hub out on the spindle. I assume since the stock spindle castle nut would not provide a fine adjustment you preload the bearings to take out play, the tapered roller bearings should more than handle the preload too. Quote
