sheerocks Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 Ive just picked up some more goodies for my 03 and now I'm down to carbs. I now have pro circuit platinum pipes,Open kn filters,v force 3,cool head with 19cc,adjustable timing plate. Its not ported as of now but I'm hoping to get it done in the next couple months. Im running stockers now. Whats the better choice for farm, woods, and the occasional fly by the neighbors house riding? Go with bigger twins (What size) Or a 2n1 kit with a 35mm? One last thing, Do the billet boss style intakes help performance any? Thanks, For all future replies. This site is killer Quote
sheerider1026 Posted January 24, 2008 Report Posted January 24, 2008 for the riding you are doing, and the pipes you are using, go with the 2 into 1.. heres my setup, 19cc domes,+5 timing, I ported my cylinders, vforce2's, t5 pipes, and the trinity 2 into 1 35mm carb. . i absolutely love the single carb setup.. it outperforms the stockers everywhere on power.. it has a lot more bottom and mid power, and it pulls harder up top.. plus its very simple only having 1 carb, it takes a lot of hassle out of it.. it is tricky to get it tuned, but just ask a few people on here, i had trouble with mine, posted a thread, and got replys with needle, main , and pilot jet reccomendations, run a dek or a eek needle in it.. i have 2 sets of stock carbs on the shelf, and thats where they will stay..
