new switch for headlights

Ok, so I am going to relocate my key to under the seat and then run a tethered kill switch on the bars. I want to get rid of the factory headlight and on/off switch.

 

I want to add another switch hidden somewhere on the frame that will just turn the lights on and off.

 

Now, do I need any kind of special switch to make the lights go from off to highs? or will a simple on and off toggle switch work?

A high amperage switch would work or you could rig up a relay
