87_shee
I picked up a set of stock cylinders recently and plan to get them ported in the future, I was wondering if there are any good builders on this side of the border.. it would sure cut down on the shipping costs. Thanks.
spike
there is GSF Racing up in Quebec that does it. seems allright for what i can see on shiftnrace.com. http://forum.shiftnrace.com/viewtopic.php?t=637 I think that pro tech up here in Halifax can do it too, I never seen any banshee's that they have done but they are kickass in the Motocycle industry http://www.protechsusp.com/mods.htm but shipping to the states is really not that bad, I'm on my 2nd set of US ported cylinders and shipping is 25-30$ each way, about 10$ more that shipping into Canada. but I think its well worth it to spend the extra little bit to get them done by a reputable Banshee guy. csrmel
rb porting up in wisconsin is suppose to do some pretty aewsome porting. with the current exchange rate you might actually save money by sending them to usa to get ported. i have never seen a single complaint about rb porting. http://groups.msn.com/RBRacingTwoStrokePorting

87_shee
Thanks for the replys guys. I have talked to a few builders and I have decided to have RB racing do my work. He seems to be the only one (that i spoke with) that was actually interested in helping me get what I want out of my motor. Thanks Bob. I was suprised by some of the answers I got from other builders, Especially GSF racing who suggested that a CUB kit would better for trails than a good port job. LOL... I don't mean to bash ppl but that almost made me fall off my chair laughing when I read that for the first time. Especailly after reading so many posts on here about Cubs and trails. LOL... Well now thats funny I've never done any business with them yet and that pretty much killed their chances of me calling them up for something one day. for what I could read on shiftnrace they are the shit but that prove that you CANT trust everything you see in forums
