get something that will hook into it without damaging the case.. it will pop out, then push the new one in.. prop the bike up on its side so oil doesn't gush out..

Oh wow, i feel kinda stupid for asking if its that easy, Just a pick of somesort should do the trick.

I bought a kit to do:

Crankshaft oil seal

Water pump seal

Shift shaft seal

Clutch oil seal

Kick start oil seal

Transmission shaft seal

assuming they all install in a similar way?

My little trick is to take a drywall screw or simular and screw it into the seal, and then pull on the screw with pliers. Sometimes the screw will hit the casing and push it out alittle too.

IF you haven't gotten it out yet...

I popped my out a couple weeks ago very easily with a flat head screwdriver... just stick the screwdriver into the hole and underneath the seal then pry downward toward the case and it should pop right out.

Where can I get just s shifter seal? Is this gonna be a dealer thing?

Thanks

Mines leaking too, just got one last week from the stealership for like $4. I used something similiar to dental picks. A lot easier than what it seems.
