Cory9584 Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 I checked for spark yesterday and there was a little spark but it wouldent start so i figured it was flooded. Today i had a friend try to pull start me with his truck and it wouldent even try to start so i checked for spark and theres nothing, alsoo the headlights dont light up when i kick it. This all started after my flywheel fell off a few days ago, the weird thing is everything looks fine like the flywheel never even hit the stator and it had spark for a while in the beginning. Quote

It's possible that your flywheel isnt good anymore, I doubt your stator is bad, maybe the flywheel hit the pickup coil, or maybe your flywheel still isnt on right. I had a problem with my flywheel coming loose so i ended up using some blue locktite on it. Quote
Cory9584 Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 how does the flywheel go bad? It fit back on like it should Quote
xsinnerx Posted January 17, 2008 Report Posted January 17, 2008 how does the flywheel go bad? It fit back on like it should the flywheel can lose its magnetism, or can have a crack on the inside. the nut on mine came loose a cpl times causing me to have no spark Quote
Cory9584 Posted January 17, 2008 Author Report Posted January 17, 2008 Can it lose magnetism from sticking to the stator when it came loose? also i just noticed one of the little parts on the stator has the coating cracking off it in one place. Quote
