kojack Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Im running a alky banshee and currently use a pingel dual flow and I use fuel filters. I ordered a ez purge but its a pain to get it setup with fuel filters. Anyone using one of these and if you are are you using fuel filters? I know the pingel has a filter but it seems like sand could make it past it. Any thoughts from those who have this setup would be great. Erik Quote

I have never had a problem with sand but im not saying it isn't possible. For the quick purge thing i can't help ya out, im old fashioned i guess when it comes to that and i spent no money on a fancy purge system. Ask bigboybanshee, i take my tank completely out every time and drain it! :biggrin: takes a while but no extra money spent and i don't mind it at all. Quote
J-Madd Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 I don't think your supposed to run a fuel filter with alky. You want that stuff going into your carbs as fast as possible. I just use a "t" and run a line to a bottle and the others to the carbs. Quote
