jamebo Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could ease my mind about something. The other day I installed a coolhead and when I got the stock head off I noticed a very small amount of coolant in the left cylinder on top of the piston, ( just a very small amount along the ring ) I immediatly wiped it up with a rag and continued the head swap. It couldn't have been much at all because I drained the cylinders beforehand. I test rode the quad afterwards and it runs awesome. What I'm wondering now is if I got all the coolant up and if it's possible that any got past the rings. If so, would it get burned up, or could it stay in there and possibly cause harm to my engine? Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Quote
