71prostreet Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 (edited) Looking for some help, My shee has 65.5mm weisco prolites and my cylinders are ported, reed spacers, and I have a stock head on the motor fmf fattys with power core 2s I run the motor at sea level and at around 1700ft above, The carbs I have on the motor right now are the 28mm PWKs and I'm having alot of problems with trying to get them going good so I'm going to put the stocks back on but they have not been on the motor since the work was done and I'm wondering what size main jets to start with. I'm going to run 2 seperate k&n filters with outerwears. I purchased a dynojet stage 3 jet kit and I have 25 pilots and 27.5's what would be good to start with for the mains and pilots? Thanks Edited January 10, 2008 by 71prostreet Quote

wacko2000 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 I live in new york as well and I started with 350's and worked my way down, I think I ended with a 330, but I stll have my air box w/no lid... For you I would say 350-350 main 27.7 pilot that should be a good starting point, but like everyone is going to say is that every bike is different which is true... Just make sure you do a plug chop, listen to what the plugs tell you when you loook at them... Quote
71prostreet Posted January 10, 2008 Author Report Posted January 10, 2008 The dynojet kit i'm getting looks like it has 270, 280 and 340 jets. Where is a good place to get other jet sizes? Quote
wacko2000 Posted January 10, 2008 Report Posted January 10, 2008 There are a few site to buy from I have ordered from http://www.magicracing.com/Wiseco-Piston-K...p_133-135.html# they are good and have tons of jets...Those kist suck like said above, Im guilty though bc I have bought them in the past...The amount of jets that you can get for 50 bucks is crazy.. they are like $3 each.... good luck Quote
