slow2_2 Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 I have a Keihin PJ series carb that came off of a 1985 Honda CR125 dirtbike. I believe that it is a 35mm carb. I was just wondering if this carb would work with a 2 into 1 intake on my banshee with a few mild mods. I understand that if I would go this route that I will be needing to rejet the carb. I'm just looking to see if I could just buy the intake alone or need to get a new carb as well. Thanks Quote
sheerider1026 Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 i would just loom on ebay or on here and buy the complete setup. i have heard that the pj carb is a bitch to tune when used for the 2 into 1 setup.. get a 35mm pwk.. i just got a 2 into 1 a while back, just got it tuned and wow.. never gonna use dual carbs on it anyomre.. what made the most difference on tuning is using the right needle.. it will not run right without the right needle in it.. good luck Quote
Snopczynski Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 they never made a 35mm pj. Whats the slide look like, and mic the carb outlet. Quote
Whitbread Posted January 6, 2008 Report Posted January 6, 2008 I use a 34 pj with a dial a jet and didn't have any tuning issues at all. The thing runs like a raped ape. The right needle does make a world of a difference though. MFI or EFI are the only things i would run over the single. Quote
