EastCoast Banshee Posted January 5, 2008 Report Posted January 5, 2008 Well my christmas present to myself arrived. Hopefully its gonna be a late christmas to myself in a week or so for the fronts. Its rather dirty so plz excuse that  Quote
peterlocal22 Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 Eastcoast the hipers look great. def. get the front done and that bike will look sick. your going to love them, they take a real beating and they look real nice too. just to let you kno i went w the 2 inch rox risers and the fasst flexx low bend. i think im going to go w the +1 anti vibe stem and it should be at a perfect height. thanks for all the advice i appreciated it. were did you pick the hypers up from? EastCoast Banshee Posted January 9, 2008 Author Report Posted January 9, 2008 Your welcome for the help man and i appreciate the complements. I also plan to get a anti vibe stem in either +1 or +2 in time i think it'll help out a lot being a little higher up and for the arm pump. As for where i got the hipers, i got them from Cycle parts west for 280 shipped but it was hell. Took them 3 weeks to get here then they didn't send the rings but i complained and they were on my doorstep less than 24hrs later. Maybe it was just because i ordered them 3 days before christmas and it took like 14 days to ship. Unless someone out their can beat that deal i might go threw hell again too get the fronts as well. peterlocal22 Posted January 9, 2008 Report Posted January 9, 2008 you got a great deal on the rears esp. shipped. screw it buy the fronts from them. Once you get the fronts your bike will look sweet. the only problem with the hipers is changing tires. if you dont do it yourself its expensive. if you do it yourself let me know how because i dont think its easy because of that damn beed lock. im looking to buy a beedlock breaker but im unsure which one to buy. anyways the hipers are the way to go. there the balls. post some pics when you get the fronts. see ya peter Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted January 9, 2008 Author Report Posted January 9, 2008 I the tires on mine myself its just a bitch and a half to get the back side to go on the bead lock. As for the front thats cake just took a small impact to tighten them up most the way the torq all them to 10ft-lbs in the right order. As for getting them off the front is easy but for the back idk yet haven't tried.im sure your could always lay the rim on a towel on a flat surface so it doesn't get torn up and use the old 2x4 and a car to pop the back bead off. that or try to use a bead breaker. you can usually pick one up on ebay for cheap. Its what iv always use and it makes the job pretty simple. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted January 9, 2008 Author Report Posted January 9, 2008 They be on the way i just sucked it up and ordered them haha. Quote

Washburn Posted January 19, 2008 Report Posted January 19, 2008 haha sweet dude, next www.tireballs.com Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted January 20, 2008 Author Report Posted January 20, 2008 Not yet they are dragging their asses again im about to complain like a mofo if they aren't here soon or ask for my damn money back and order them somewhere else. As for tire balls those things are ungodly expensive i think ill pass on those and get the TCS race conversion on my rear shock. Quote
Washburn Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 Yeah their expensive but sure come in handy in races and long long trail rides. I will be getting the wal mart kids balls and putting them in my tires untill I can save up for tire balls. They are a bitch to put in too. Quote
EastCoast Banshee Posted January 25, 2008 Author Report Posted January 25, 2008 They have finally arrived. I should have them mounted up tomorrow and ill be sure to get a few pictures. Quote
