g_low0885 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 i need to get some new headlights for my shee. i was looking around and seen that they are starting to put led headlights in cars. i was wondering if any one has seen this done or know of a kit to do it. i was thinking that since led use less engery i could get brighter lights with out having to upgrade the stator and of course it would be cool as hell. chillls Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 ya it would be cool. piaa makes replacement bulbs that are the same watt but have a higher output & give you more of a white light. im running a set of piaa 55w that equal 85w & are super bright (almost like a HID light)(i said almost) i also have a 200 watt stator that i got from ricky stator  Quote
Snopczynski Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 there are some mr16 type led bulbs that can be put in trail tech or lazer star housings. I can get the new vision x led xmitter bars for cheap also. The mounts for those have to be custom fabbed though. Quote
