Running rims backwards?

Does anyone on here turn their rims around so that the make their stance wider? Someone told me that if I reversed my rims I could get a wider stance. Is this practical?

yup, i dont do it, but its just like getting offset wheels. Should make you a little wider.

yea it works i did it to mine made it much wider

yea thats how mine r i like it looks a lil diff. than everybody else but beware when gon thru tight spaces i got stuck doin that not fun :biggrin:

I might be an idiot but do u reverse both front and back? It worked in the rear but in the front the valve stems hit the brakes.

i only did the rear didnt even try the front but like u said i think the stems would hit

Get flush mount stems, or plug the hole with a SS bolt and tap and plug the outside. Its easy you can do it a home.

jusrt sounds like a good excuse to get + size a arms to me :shrug:

break the bead on your front tires,

take your tires off the rims,

removed your valve stem and reverse it, inside out.

get new valve stems, drill your new hole and install your tires.

BAM your done. i ran flipped rims on my blaster and it worked awesome! :biggrin:

Might wanna put a little plummers putty in the cap before you put it on the stem. Crazy shit happens when your haulin ass
