ferociousllama Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 I have a stock bike, except for FMF fatty pipes. I currently have stock carbs that have 260 mains and 25 pilots. Air screw is 2.5 turns out. I ride in about 70 degree weather less than 1000ft above sea level, very low humidity (I don't know if that matters.) I just got a 39mm pwk 2 into 1 kit. I need to know what size jets I should start with. I bought the kit used and it has a 185 main jet in it. Let me know what you guys think. Quote
Snopczynski Posted November 6, 2007 Report Posted November 6, 2007 probably 185-190 main jet. EEK needle started out in center-leanest clip position. 42-45 pilot jet with air screw 1.5-2 turns out. Quote
help Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 I have the same question but my shee has a few more mods. Its ported, vforce reeds, no air box, fmf pipes, i believe it is bored over a little. and i have a stock head. I ride in pretty much the same conditions. What kind of jets do you think i need to run? thanks!!!!!!!!! Quote
moneybags Posted November 7, 2007 Report Posted November 7, 2007 This dont help much but, when I bought my 02 Banshee. It came with a 38 2 into 1 setup. I was told it was set up for 4000 elevation. He had a 220 main jet and a 68 poilet. Was running with everything in my sig except the dual 39 carbs and coil and wire.... Quote

If its ported, stick with the same on everything, except try an eej needle instead of the eek. I sort of need to know which fmf pipes though. If they are 10k + rpm pipes then it may need 1 size or so larger on the main jet. Quote
