waterpump cover?

Hey guys,

 

My waterpump cover is looking really gross, its more brown then black anymore, so was wondering if anyone has painted one and what all would need to be done. I just want it back to dark black.

On a part like that, just get some fusion and paint it black. No need to put a bunch of time and effort into a water pump cover.

Krylon Fusion paint for plastic. The can says no sanding or priming, but I would still used some light sand paper to ruff it up some so the paint sticks better.
