yeah, i've got a bar clamp for some trail tech style lights that i am trying to decide if i want to put it on my blaster to replace the big ugly headlight or if i want to put it on the banshee so that i can have headlights up on the handle bars. that's one of the things i like about the older style blaster, if you ride at night, your light shines where you are going even when turning.

I was thinking the same.. Traitech Bar mounts for me & throw the regular ones on the Blaster. For better lighting I think the kid could definately use the bar mounts.. That stock Blaster lights up really well in the dark, it function is perfect but..... I don't like it. I'll see I come up with. Also looking at TC Customes who makes $50 50 watt bult lights with mount for the bars.. It's a black setup & think would look good since the bike is all black right down the middle. Would stock Blaster Stator handle those 50watt bulbs + a light on the whip?

NO. the stock bulb is only like 35 watts. i think the stator can only handle at most 1 55 watt bulb.

by the way if you are interested in upgrading the rear shock on that blaster for pretty cheap check out this link.

i am running one of these shocks on the back of my blaster and it works great. way better than the stock blaster shock.

the 400ex rear shock is the same as the z400, kfx400, and the dvx400. so if you go looking on ebay don't just look for a 400ex rear shock (they usually go for more expensive than the others).
