I just ditched my stock carbs in favor of some 35mm PWK's. What should I do with the harness connectors (For the carbs?) I'm not ready to fire it up yet but will it even run with the stock connectors disconnected?

You can either tie wrap them up into the frame, outta sight. Or cut them out of

your wiring harness. Also pull the little box in the left side of your frame under

the gas tank.

So the Tors system won't disable the ignition if I just leave an open circuit? How exactly does the Tors system work?

TORS, throttle override system. Supposedly, if your carburetor slides stick open

they are supposed to govern the ignition, not let the engine rev out. Say....

causing you to run off hauling ass at warp speed into a tree. :blink:

You should be fine. Also remove the little box under your gas tank.

Get rid of them, if you have aftermarket carbs you have no use for them anymore. TORS sucks balls anyway i got rid of all that shit when i put my kit on with stock carbs.

Cut em off the harness.... Where I dont run headlights, taillight I cut all that crap off the harness... Cleans it up a lot.

make sure you dont throw your tors away though, they still have a good use. for instance one day you feel like smashing something with a hammer :shrug:
