jjdillon426 Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 does anyone have a problem with they're 4mil falling on its face off the line? i just got the motor back and for some reason, its bogs off the line alot. but when it finally opens up, it runs like a bat out of hell. i dont know what it could be. does anyone know what the problem could be? dajogejr Posted September 26, 2007 Report Posted September 26, 2007 Are you using a spacer plate or cut domes? Did you get the engine port timings redone to match the 4 mil crank? What is your gearing? what gear are you leaving in? Have you tried slipping the clutch instead of dumping it.... There could be a number of things...mechanical OR Rider.... Quote
jjdillon426 Posted September 27, 2007 Author Report Posted September 27, 2007 it has a spacer, 4mil & 5 longrod, stroker pistons, deck height .042, ports are perfect, 22 tires, 15/41 gears, taking off in second, and no it didn't do it before, but it didn't pull near as hard as it does now if i can get off the line Quote
wesw Posted September 27, 2007 Report Posted September 27, 2007 if your bike can pull that gearing with wedges in sec it has some power, youmight try like 14-42 43. i used to run that in sec starts with wedges. Quote
