I need some help on choosing the right paddle for my setup. I like to ride at pismo beach and sand mountain nevada.

I am building a 392 cub, clean up port, with shearer inframes, 35 pwk carbs, +6 swinger and I weigh about 245lbs. I like to drag and dune. probably 60% drag and 40% dune.

Also what gearing should I be running?

Thanks

Dave

Dave...I'm at sand mountain now and run 22-11-10 extremes on my 421 and it hooks great in the soft sand and my other banshee has a 20-10-10 Sand stars and they work great as well..They work awesome as well at Pismo.

Get a hold of fulerton sand tires in garden grove I know weird but thats where there at. They will set you up with what you need and do custom tire groving and paddle counts buffing so forth great guys to work with.I got paddle brats stagered cut last year from them not cheap but they work like a houler and turn like a v paddle almost. and super light lighter than a hauler and the paddles are not glued on either. So they they dont come off as easy. They cut the paddle to you and you the bike motor swing arm so forth the ultimate

I'm a big fan of Fullerton Sand Sports... Jim and Dave are great guys... but, IMO... The Haulers are the best bet for Banshee's... I've had the comp cut Paddla Brats... and they worked awesome on my YFZ450... But the SLS Haulers.... MAN... Can't go wrong.

I thihk the 22x11x8's have too much side roll for duneing. I'ld look into 21x12x8's 9 or 10 pdl extreme's. They have about 68" roll out and is a pretty good tire for drag/dune combo. You can get a set from RMATV for about 250 shipped compared to the 350+ for the super lights and they're more durable for the dune riding.

Just my 2 cents

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up buying the paddles from Moneybags. Nice paddles and hell of a nice guy.
