Arizonaduner Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 Well actually it's not a missing puzzle piece, it's an extra puzzle piece. The spring and two washers/spacers (See attached picture) were in the bag with the Shift drum (I could have tossed them in from another sub-assembly by mistake?) and I cannot figure out where they go. I have looked thru both the factory manual and clymer manual and cannot find what they are and where they go. I don't want to go any further on the engine build-up until I figure this out. Any ideas? Thanks, Steve Quote

But I'll keep a close eye out for them elsewhere. The moral of the story is - Never just "Toss" other unrelated parts in with others without leaving some kind of note. Steve Quote
