In the manual it says for motocross between 7.5 & 9 inches, and recreational between 9 & 10 inches. I ride a little bit of trails and a little bit on a track. sredish Posted September 23, 2007 Report Share Posted September 23, 2007 I can't stand to have a ride height over 8". I always use 7 3/4"" in front and 7 1/2" in the rear, with 20" tires. Works great for xc, woods and trails, etc. Then, if you were to hit the track and throw on some 18's, then you'll drop down another inch. 7" or so is more ideal for mx.
