Bansh-eman Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 my magnum basket is grooving after a short time so i don't recommend one. you are actually the first person i have heard that had a bad experiance with magnum... I would recommend Magnum for the simple fact that normally I would say 100% of ppl iv heard from with them where happy ( i guess now ill state 99%) Dajogejr runs one thats a few season old, he had it in his 4 mil cub and now in his 10 mil cub and it looks new. They are much cheaper then a Hinson thats for sure! Quote
1966nova Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 i just installed r6 clutches today with stock basket and love it works great i had a tusk in it before... made 80hp cub motor....... Quote
fastrthnu Posted September 17, 2007 Report Posted September 17, 2007 magnums are the best bang for the buck, but there are better ones out there that have a light steel or titanium thinga jiger that wraps around the fingers and have the oiling hole too. The basket remains lightweight, but doesnt groove from being soft on the disc contact area. I dont remember who made em though. Quote
