there is some pitting on one of the domes on my stock cylinder head. is it ok to use it the way it is? if not, is there anything i can do about it without going to a cool head or buying another stock head? thanks.

Depends on severity of damage. Pits can lead to pre-ignition. Not a real good idea.

If they arent deep, you could polish em out, but you have to remove the same amount of material from both domes. If they are bad, stock heads used arent much. Personally Id just get another one.
