ClimbAnyHill Posted September 11, 2007 Author Report Posted September 11, 2007 http://www.mccoysperformance.com/ Not sure what is so crappy about SoCal? Traveled elsewhere but always happy to come home.... L.A. kinda sucks though, I miss S.D. OR looks fun, but too cold for me I think North Cali is too cold lol. While Vegas is too damn hot.... Thanks for the link... There's lots of great people out here.. I'm referring to the many assholes that exist out here, add on the cost of living, housing ... ya know... All that sucks out here! Thank god for the good fam & friends though! Back to the topic!! Quote

NorCal might as well be a different state if you are comparing SoCal to it. My major bitch about SoCal is the cost of living, the endless pavement jungle, the self-absorbed people, and the fact that the people are stacked right on top of each other. IF you lived up in the high desert, it might not be so bad, unless you had to work in the city. Quote

I apologize for the off topic wandering, but I tend to do that. Two things: 1.) Nate McCoy does some good work, but he can be full of BS sometimes and tends to have a back log of work. 2.) If you feel confident in your ability to manage a vendor who is doing work for you and you feel technically confident, then Trinity might be a way to go. They are reasonably priced and do a goos job if you know what you want and are not retarded. Quote

But either should be capable of bore and hone, I just don't want trinity ported cylinders. I don't really believe in the "Pick a porting stage" type of philosophy. And Nate does have the best SuperCub out. LA sucks, but LA is not the same as So Cal. Huntington beach is cool, La Jolla, PB, East County in SD etc. Hell my parents aren't cramped they have few acres and horses! Housing sucks though, pretty much given up the idea of purchasing a home. Don't make enough to come up with a down payment. Little housing selling for 800k in crowded neighborhoods is just ridiculous... But there IS a reason why it costs so much to live here. Quote
tpete3 Posted September 23, 2007 Report Posted September 23, 2007 (edited) Port Magic, up in Hesperia. Its a little drive, maybe hour and a half, but he's known for his work. His name is Rudy -760-244-8834 And another thing, the high desert is getting just as bad as other places in So Cal, way too many people moving this way Edited September 23, 2007 by tpete3 Quote

Like I am sure I have said before, if you use Trinity for something, you need to make sure that you know exactly what you want them to do. Some of Nate's stuff is cool. Some of it isn't. I think it comes down to how you feel after talking to him. Newport Beach, and HB are cool, but they are expensive place to live. I suspect that's why alot of people are heading out to the high desert. Quote
