The rule if thumb is.........100% of the wheelbase. When I used to race asphault I used 2 small skateboard type wheels about 8 inches or so apart. Hope this helps!!

ya thanks ,also i see alot of bars with one wheel like the long triangle whats better for asphault

I would stick with the four bar personally, but thats a matter of opinion..

Alcoholbanshee is right 100% of the wheel base, BUT, if in sand we have been finding a wheelbase +6 works REAL well. Hope this helps.

 

 

 

 

Oh yeah, dont forget to make them adjustable ( put hiem joints at each end) to raise or lower the wheels!!!!
