lush_Dawg Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 hey everyone i just took my carbs and cleaned everything out...had some fun in the mud and got everything back together and adjusted my idle screws and now its a bitch to start...takes like 10 kicks...could i have my idle down too low? dajogejr Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Hold the throttle open just a hair...if it starts easy, you're right. Normally...just to start out and eyeball the settings...I turn the idle screws to where they just start to make contact. Then, 1.5 to 2.0 turns in. Worst case scenario it idles a little high....but you can adjust it from there. Be sure to adjust both the air screw and idle once it's fully warmed up. Quote
