Will this CARB work?

30mm Flat Slide Carb

 

 

I will be soon receiving my cylinders back after getting them Dune Ported and new Wiseco Pistons. I was wondering if this carb in dual setup would be good for me or does anyone have a recommendation? I am looking for 28mm or 30mm but don't know which to go with and what style. Mikuni or Keihen? PWK, Flat-Slide, Round, etc?

That is a CPW 30mm carb.. You can get a pair of them with a cable directly from Carb parts warehouse, on ebay for normally around 200 shipped.. Trenga is bad for straping one of there stickers on somebody else's product and jacking the price up.. Another thing you could do is put together a pair of rm 85 carbs which is a 28mm PWK.. 30mm pwks are just 28's that have been opened up.. I would get the CPW as it is a true 30mm carb..

If you don't mind me asking. What is the difference between CPW and PWK? I don't understand the abbreviations or term.

The 30mm CPW is a true 30mm carb.. The 30mm PWK is actually a 28 that has been opened up so there is less material there..

I have a set of 30mm oko's from CPW. They are 28mm knockoffs and the carb have been machined on the inlet side to 30mm. Just the upper section of the carb. It measures 30mm up and down but the side to side is still 28mm wide. They are CPW's carbs that i bought off ebay. To my knowledge there is no such thing as a true stock 30mm pwk style carb, all have been machined and opened up. With that said, they are a great carb and the guys at cpw will get the carbs jetted close for your engine set up. I pulled mine off and put on 35's only because I have a 4mil and needed more carb. I recommend them.
