official_style Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 so i was checking out my new bike today, it has k&n filters with the prefilters over them, and no airbox. should the filters be in an airbox, or is this setup fine? bike is stock except this and FMF silencers, at least this is all i have found so far. RoostRocket Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 iw should be fine as ling as your not running through heavy mud and water. i have never had a problem with mine and ive taken it trail riding plenty of times. i would just service them if they get wet and you'll be fine. Quote
