Snopczynski Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Im not testing the waters, and I am not doing my own thing either. I am just doing something that you guys on here dont agree with, but I have been doing it all a long time. Most of the stuff I learn or advice I get is from my engine guy. He is a Boeing QC engineer and worked on the stealth project in the early 90's. He is hands down the smartest guy I know and he is a engine guru. He also knows the value of making, and determining actual and accurate hp numbers when he builds motors (his land and sea crank dyno), thats not something you see every day with so called good engine builders. In my every day life, with my friends, my family and the group I ride with, all this stuff is gospel and gets put to work and tested. I opted to run 50/50 race gas at 170 psi compression with 19cc domes because I know I will get this thing hot down in the holes. I am not worried about my crank, but if I ever split my cases I will match port them and have the crank trued and welded. Quote
_Hex* Posted August 22, 2007 Report Posted August 22, 2007 id' say 21's, 20 is cutting it a little short, because 23 is stock if i remember correctly. unless ur going straight race gas i would say 21 is a perfect setup. Quote
