rusty1100 Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Has anyone thought about taking a die grinder to the center part of the clutch cover so that you could get to the clutch without taking the whole thing off? My center piece that bolts on came with a gasket, and Im thinking what the crap is this thing for and why in the world would they put this here and not sere any purpose. I have taken my clutch cover off about 10 times now, trying to adjust it, problems with it, etc. and I always think how stupid is this thing being here and not serving a purpose. :wallbash: So I just thought I would ask if anyone else thought about just cutting out the hole so that you can get to it and putting the gasket and center piece in and serve a purpose.... I dont know just thinking out loud... What do you think? Quote

Its been done many times by alot, if you know how to adjust your clutch you wouldnt have this problem lmao, just make sure you get a good seal (the o ring around your billet center piece is so it doesnt rattle) All lockout cluctches already have this mod done... Justintoxicated Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 probably easier to just buy a lockup cover unless you know what you are doing. Quote
