okbeast Posted July 24, 2007 Report Posted July 24, 2007 I bought a RAD y14 carrier off a member here and was told the bearings were good but they are as stiff as could be, so I'm just going to replace them. Are these bearings different than the stock ones or just the same. Is there somewhere I can buy all 4 or do I just need to get 2 replacement sets of the stock bearings? Quote

You may want to get the numbers off the bearings and verify that though. :geek: Quote

This may not be what you want to hear, but if you get the numbers off the bearings, then you can just buy them from an industrial supply house of your choice. :geek: Quote
okbeast Posted July 25, 2007 Author Report Posted July 25, 2007 That's what I'm going to do at lunch today. I had to beat the living shit out of them to get them out last night, and when I cleaned all the grease and all out they spin pretty damn good, just a tad rough. I dont really know why they wouldnt spin in the carrier, almost like it was the wrong bearing (based on how hard it was to get them out). Quote
