won't idle backfires too

I just rebuilt the top end of my 94 banshee with wiseco pistons, put some last rebel racing pipes with power core 2 silencers , and a white bros boost bottle. I changed the main jets to 250 from 190 and now the damn thing won't start unless it is primed with fuel in the carbs and when it does fire it won't idle and backfires like crazy any help will be greatly appreciatd

PS fuel mixture is 50:1 this is what the local dealer told me to mix

Nevermind I got it , that damn crossover hose for the choke was missing connected it and bam runs like a hot damn

Glad you figured it out,oh and ditch the boost bottle itll only cause you air leak problems in the future.Plus theres no power gains over the stock crossover tube. :smile:

Put at least the 250 mains in it while you're at it. Stock mains are 200...you're leaner than that...or your gonna be rebuilding it again real soon...and it'll be more than just pistons...LOL...
