That's one of Ebay's new methods of decreasing all the fraud on the site. It's supposed to keep the spammers from getting ahold of your Ebay ID, and sending out phishing emails. The thing that gets me is when your bidding and these bidders that your against have no prior purchases or feedback but they're bidding on high dollar quads. Something should be done about that!
