dajogejr Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Keep your stock ignition.... Unless you have a bad CDI, then I'd get a used OEM replacement, or the Dyna... Either one of them can give you more horsepower by increasing the timing....you can do the same thing with a 35 dollar timing plate. Unless you're running a drag bike and have access to a laptop and dyno to manually adjust your own curves....it's wasted money for you. However, if you run Nitrous, looking for an ignition interrupt...etc., then the dyna is a good choice. The dyna is a fully programmable ignition....the procom is JUNK...a CDI alone will not raise your "redline". There is NO redline on a two stroke, pipes, porting and intakes decide how far your motor can rev...not an ignition.... DUDE...you posted the question at midnight, and expected immediate answers within an hour? C'mon.... Quote
csrmel Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 i think the aftermarket cdi will advance the timing a bit. but they are hella expensive for what you get. youre better off grabbing an ajustable stator plate or modding the stock one. Quote
fast500#12 Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 don't buy a procom. i went through 5 of them before i made them give me my money back. if you ever wanna kick start you bike again definatly don't buy a procom Quote
