peterlocal22 Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 i was rideing the other day and one of my tension springs (thats the spring that connects your pipe to the motor, there are two for each pie) fell off. anyways i want to go riding tomorrow but cant get me hands on any. anyone have any tricks for replacement. thanks Quote
XxMeltIcexX Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Well get it replaced as soon as you can but a wire will hold it on for the meantime, how did it fall off? Or did you take it off and forget to put it back on? Very unlikely that it fell off unless it breaks which is also unlikely... Eric Quote

Eric when i took it off to pu new pipes on i noticed the tip was bent so i tried to bend it back. i have a feeling the metal just got to weak from bending it back again and it just didnt want to hold right. theshee Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Go to homedepot or lowes and find a spring that will work for a ride. Then get a good replacement. Quote

Eric I've had numerous pipe springs break in the last 11 years, stock springs, and aftermarket springs. I lost one in April, at the dunes. Quote
MILO Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 you could use any kind of spring for now. but i'd hit up your local dealer or rocky mtn or something and get some replacements. they are only a few bucks a piece. Quote
