DEPUTY DOG Posted June 15, 2007 Report Posted June 15, 2007 http://img524.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000478qm8.jpg http://img524.imageshack.us/my.php?image=1000478qm8.jpg i have a 87 motor bored .050 with wiesco pistons toomey t-5's lid removed 300 mains and stock needle in stock position and stock pilot about 2 turns out the start is a bit sluggish in 1st but after that you better hold on i was wondering if i should richen the needle or up the mains and any input would be great oh i'm at sea level 80-100 degrees thanks Noah Quote

MILO Posted June 16, 2007 Report Posted June 16, 2007 assuming you did a WOT plug chop the way it should be done, i'd say it's a bit lean, but you're really close. you need to gradually up your mains a step at a time. a lot of guys think i'm nuts, but it took 370's in mine to get the plug chops to look good. every shee is a little different bud, give her what shee likes.
